 Subscribing to Wimbledon LIVE

How can I subscribe to Wimbledon LIVE?
You can subscribe to Wimbledon LIVE in two ways. An All Access Pass gives you full access to all the material on the site for 90 days after your purchase date or after championships, whichever is later. A Day Pass is valid for 14 days after purchase and gives you access to all live matches and video on demand content from that day’s play.

What is an All Access Pass?
An All Access Pass is a pass to view all of the programming as a live broadcast or download to view at your leisure up to 90 days after your purchase date or after the conclusion of the championships whichever is later.

What is a Day Pass?
A Day Pass gives you access to live and video on demand content from the day's play of your choosing. For instance, a Day Pass for Day 3 will allow you to see live coverage and on demand video from Day 3. You will not be able to view live matches or video on demand content from any previous or subsequent days unless you purchase those specific Day Passes. However, you can watch matches from the day of your Day Pass for up to 14 days after the date of purchase.

Due to the fact that these are live events, the "watch now" button will appear just a few minutes prior to the event.

Is this available all over the world? What countries can I watch from?
For now, Wimbledon LIVE matches are available live in all territories except in France and Spain.
Due to rights restrictions select matches may not be available in Japan.

The video On Demand offering is available in all territories.

Depending on the type of connection your PC has, you can take the steps listed below to view programming. Please consult your local electronics retailer to learn more about the components needed for viewing.

Composite Video
Most DVD equipped computers have this setup. The outputs are usually located at the rear or side of computer; the video output is color-coded yellow and the audio output, or line-out, is the 3.5mm jack usually indicated by this icon

S-Video
Newer computers may have an S-video connection. In order to use this feature, your TV must also have an S-Video input.

Audio Output but NO Video Output
If you have an older video card, you may not have a video output that can be directly connected to your TV. In this case, you will need to utilize the VGA port on your computer, which is the connector that's attached to your PC monitor.

How do I know what quality the media play will be?
Live matches are available in high-quality 500k streams, while Video On Demand content is available in either 500k or 1mb downloads.

How can I get the best possible service?
Do a web search for "test dsl connection" to find sites where you can test the speed and quality of your connection.

  • Turn off any other programs that are sharing your connection like other browser windows and email programs.
  • Re-start computer to close other programs that may be running in the background.

 Troubleshooting

Nothing's happening after I try to register. How come?
You'll need to turn off the pop up blockers. You can either turn them off or hold down the Ctrl-key while clicking register.

How do I know if I will see buffering or not?
Bandwidth depends on your Internet Service Provider. It can be affected by network traffic and other users at your location. We recommend you test your service to make sure it will support the webcasts. Our program is streamed at 500 kbps, and we recommend at least 550kbps (down) broadband connection for a quality experience.
